Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role

Anotiva is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to support a mission-critical program requiring deep technical expertise in security automation, CI/CD implementation, and infrastructure-as-code. This is a hands-on engineering role for a seasoned professional who thrives in high-stakes, security-conscious environments and can operate independently across the full DevOps lifecycle — from coding to deployment to Linux systems administration.

The ideal candidate brings a decade of proven software engineering experience, an active DoD TS/SCI clearance, and a track record of building and securing automation pipelines that support sensitive, mission-focused operations.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with security automation technologies
• Active DoD Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) clearance
• 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering or a related field
• Strong proficiency in Python coding and development
• Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD implementation and application
• Proficiency with Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure automation
• Experience with User Interface, Web, and API development
• Strong Linux administration skills

Desirable Qualifications

• Practical experience with LLMs, RAG, CAG, and MCP (Model Context Protocol) usage
• In-depth familiarity with the special operations community

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Ansible and Terraform
• Develop and maintain Python-based tooling to support security automation initiatives
• Administer and harden Linux systems in support of mission requirements
• Contribute to UI, web, and API development efforts supporting internal and program tools
• Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate emerging technologies (LLM/RAG/MCP) where applicable
• Operate within strict security and compliance frameworks appropriate to a cleared environment

Clearance Requirement

This position requires an active DoD TS/SCI clearance. Candidates must be able to provide proof of clearance status upon request; sponsorship for clearance is not available for this role.
